Award-winning solicitor-turned-homeopath, health writer, lecturer in homeopathy and expert in modern homeopathic methods and holistic health matters, Sarah Whittaker RSHom, registered homeopath and founder-director of Phoenix Homeopathy Ltd, practices 21st century progressive homeopathy from her clinic in Brighton, and worldwide via Skype webcam, telephone and email.
Founded in 2003 from a desire to merge a business service ethos with creative homeopathy for the modern patient, Phoenix has since been judged in the top three outstanding alternative health practices in the UK in the Complementary & Alternative Medicine Magazine Awards 2006, and in 2007 Sarah Whittaker won first prize at the Complementary & Alternative Medicine Magazine Awards 2007 for her outstanding contribution to the community.
Sarah has an international client base, treating clients as far-flung as Ethiopia and New York via Skype webcam, telephone or email, as well as seeing clients at her dedicated clinic in Brighton on the South Coast of England. Diagnosed with multiple sclerosis in 1995, and paralysed as a result by 1996, Sarah made it her mission to understand the causes of her chronic ill-health, using homeopathy to rebuild her life and her health. Her personal experience of disabling illness and the effects of too much stress gives her a unique insight into the nature of health and disease and informs her practice to this day.
