Dynamic, results-driven homeopathy
21st century progressive homeopathy
the debate
There is a long-standing (and lively) debate in homeopathic circles about the relative values of purist classical as opposed to modern practical or complex homeopathy. We find that (wisely) patients don't much care about the philosophical debate, as long as their treatment helps them to feel better.
The Phoenix approach
Phoenix's approach is rooted in the classical, in that we are always seeking to perceive that which needs to be cured in your case (and this is usually something deeper than the presenting complaint), and in that we aim to treat the centre of your case where possible.
However, we may sometimes employ practical prescribing techniques, if doing so seems to best serve your aims and needs, as we concentrate on results, rather than ideology.
As British homeopath Robert Davidson puts it:
Much is spoken and written in homeopathy about how to interpret what Hahnemann [the founder of homeopathy] wrote. If we look at what he consistently demonstrated throughout his life, in his action, it becomes very simple:
- Have no ... limiting ideas
- Do what works best, right now
- Continue looking for what works better
progressive 21st century homeopathy
At Phoenix Homeopathy, we call this approach progressive 21st-century homeopathy.
